AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,835.01 WITH PADUCAH
PAVING COMPANY, INC. FOR THE NOBLE PARK BASKETBALL COURTS
} WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 98-4-5849 to enter into a contract
with Paducah Paving Company, Inc.., for the construction of the Noble Park Basketball Courts;
and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the amount of
$6,835.01 for application of color paint coat to the courts to finalize the project for the above
referenced contract, increasing the total contract price to $39,100.61.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change
Order No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $6,835.01 with Paducah Paving Company, Inc., for
the application of color paint coat to finalize the construction of the Noble Park Basketball
Courts, increasing the total cost to $39,100.61.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 40-1203-513-
2307.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and shall become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
