AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $59,901.58 WITH WAHL'S
EXCAVATING & UNDERGROUND INC FOR THE MORGAN CORNELL ROADWAY
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 98-4-5853 to enter into a contract
with Wahl's Excavating & Underground, Inc., for the Morgan -Cornell Roadway Improvement
Project; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the amount of
$59,901.58 for miscellaneous work and materials to finalize the project for the above referenced
contract, increasing the total contract price to $1,362,543.08.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change
Order No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $59,901.58 with Wahl's Excavating &
Underground, Inc., for miscellaneous work and materials required to finalize the Morgan -Cornell
Roadway Improvement Project, increasing the total cost to $1,362,543.08.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and shall become

effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
