AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $11,274.45 WITH TERRY
LAND DEVELOPMENT, INC., FOR THE LITTLEVILLE ROADWAY DRAINAGE AND
SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 98-6-5866 to enter into a contract
with Terry Land Development, Inc., in the amount of $174,019.28 for the Littleville Roadway,
Drainage and Sewer Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the amount of
$11,274.45 for adjustment of actual quantities installed to finalize the project for the above
referenced contract, increasing the total contract price to $185,293.73.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change
Order No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $11,274.45 with Terry Land Development, Inc., for
adjustment of actual quantities installed to finalize the project, increasing the total cost to
$185,293.73.
SECTION 2. Due to the requirement that the invoice be considered within a 30 -
day time period, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become
effective immediately with one reading.
