HomeMy WebLinkAbout99-11-6135374 I/ ORDINANCE NO. 99% fD! 3S AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED ZONE CHANGE FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 100-116 BROADWAY, FROM M-1, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE TO H-1, HISTORICAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution passed by the Paducah Planning Commission on September 20, 1999, and entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED ZONE CHANGE FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 100-116 BROADWAY," be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following described property be, and it is hereby, changed from M-1, Light Industrial Zone to H-1, Historic Commercial Zone: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Broadway & the floodwall (adjacent to Water Street) thence in a southerly direction with the i' floodwall a distance of 126.9 feet; thence in a westerly direction 248' along the rear of 100-116 Broadway to the center of Maiden Alley; thence with the centerline of said alley in a northerly direction a distance of 125.29' to the centerline of Broadway; thence in an easterly direction 248' to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
