AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SALE OF ONE 1994 WHITE/GMC REFUSE BODY AND CHASSIS BY
THE CITY OF PADUCAH TO McQUEEN EQUIPMENT COMPANY FOR THE TOTAL
AMOUNT OF $33,000
WHEREAS, pursuant to 2-668 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, a written determination has been made by the City Manager that the City does not have
any use at this time or in the future for one 1994 White/GMC Refuse Body and Chassis utilized
by the Public Works Department/Solid Waste Division, which constitutes surplus personal
property.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the sale to McQueen Equipment Company, of one 1994
White/GMC Refuse Body and Chassis utilized by the Public Works Department/Solid Waste
Division is hereby approved for the total amount of $33,000.00.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a Contract for Sale
and any other documents necessary for the sale of said personal property.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
