ORDINANCE NO. 99-10 - 6 //-S—
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF EAGLE PROPERTIES AND
CONSTRUCTION INC., FOR STREETSCAPE PROJECT - PHASE I, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Eagle Properties and
Construction Inc., in the amount of $845,849.36 for Streetscape Project - Phase I, said bid being
in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, and as contained in the bid of Eagle
Properties and Construction, Inc., dated August 5, 1999.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Eagle
Properties and Construction, Inc., for the Streetscape Project - Phase I, authorized in Section 1
above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore
approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 040-1203-513-
2307 (CD0050)
SECTION 4. Due to the necessity to complete the Streetscape Project - Phase I,
prior to the onset of inclement weather conditions, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and
this ordinance shall become effective immediately with one reading.
