AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A GRANT AGREEMENT AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING THERETO
WITH THE KENTUCKY LEAGUE OF CITIES SAFETY GRANT PROGRAM
� WHEREAS, the City of Paducah desires to obtain a matching grant from the

Kentucky League of Cities Safety Grant Program which funds will be used to purchase 10 Ultra
Light MSA Tanks for the Fire Department.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Grant
Agreement and all documents relating thereto with the Kentucky League of Cities Safety Grant
Program to obtain a matching grant in the amount of $2,295.00 for 10 Ultra Light MSA tanks for
the Fire Department. The City will provide matching funds in the amount of $2,295.00, for this
project.

SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 001-1802-522-
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
