AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 98-6-5875, ENTITLED,
"AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, ANNUAL
BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1998, THROUGH JUNE 30, 1999, BY
ESTIMATING REVENUES AND RESOURCES AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE
OPERATION OF CITY GOVERNMENT"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The annual budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1998, and
ending June 30, 1999, is hereby amended by a supplemental appropriation which decreases the
General Fund Reserve and increases the Inspection Dept. Wages account in the amount of
$35,0000.00 to cover wages for two part-time employees from September 1998 to June 30, 1999,
and $10,000.00 to cover wages for two seasonal Code Enforcement Officers from April 13, 1999,
to June 30, 1999, for a total transfer of $45,000.00.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
