AN ORDINANCE THE PURCHASE OF THREE EXMARK MOWERS IN
THE AMOUNT OF $17,997 FOR USE BY THE PARKS DEPARTMENT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. Authorizing the purchase of three Exmark mowers from CFI Lawn
& Garden in the amount of $17,997 for use by the Parks Department, said purchase being
in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, bid proposal, and as contained in the
bid of CFI of April 13, 1999.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with CFI
Lawn & Garden for the purchase of three mowers authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal, advertisement for bids, and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account Number
001-2402-534-4003.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
