AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $19,150.00 FROM
BLUEGRASS RECREATIONAL PRODUCTS FOR USE BY THE PARKS
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State Contract Number
BP010681, and competitive bidding is not required. _.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah is authorized to purchase
playground equipment from Bluegrass Recreational Products for the sum of $19,150.00,
for use by the Parks Department, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a
contract for same.

SECTION 2. This purchase shall be charged to the Capital Improvement
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
