AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF PADUCAH FORD IN THE
TOTAL AMOUNT OF $46,841.00, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF VEHICLES FOR USE BY
VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bids of Paducah Ford in the total
amount of $46,841.00 for sale to the City of vehicles, said bids being in substantial compliance
with bid specifications, and as contained in the bids of Paducah Ford, of May 28, 1999, for sale to
the City of the following:
Parks Dept. (1) 15 Passenger Super Duty Wagon $24,975.00
Street Div. (1) One -ton cab/chassis $21,866.00
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Paducah
Ford for the purchase of vehicles, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. These purchases shall be charged to Account Number 071-0102-
541-4005.
T SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
