ORDINANCE 99-1- S-974
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH PHOTO SCIENCE, INC. TO PROVIDE
SERVICES FOR THE PADUCAH/McCRACKEN COUNTY DIGITAL MAPPING
AND DIGITAL ORTHOPHOTOGRAPHY PROGRAM
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That upon receiving written commitment to participate
financially from McCracken County, Paducah Water Works, Paducah Power System and
Jackson Purchase ECC, the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute a contract with
Photo Science, Inc. in the amount of $573,967.00 to provide base mapping for the
Paducah/McCracken County Digital Mapping and Digital Orthophotography Program, for
use in the Geographic Information System (GIS). The City of Paducah will be reimbursed
the sum of $459,173.60 by McCracken County, Paducah Water Works, Paducah Power
System and Jackson Purchase ECC for this project, pursuant to an Interlocal Agreement
between the parties.
SECTION 2. The City's portion of this expenditure shall be $114,793.40
and shall be charged to Account No. 001-1201-513-2307. The City shall receive the sum
of $459,173.60 into Account No. 001-0000-100-0201.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
