AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
PADUCAH AND THE COUNTY OF McCRACKEN, FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A
JOINT PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM
f WHEREAS the Cit and County have determined that the public interest would

be served and the efficiency and effectiveness of each of their organizations would be enhanced by
the creation of a county -wide Geographic Information System; and
WHEREAS, the City and County do now desire to execute an agreement
regarding such cooperative program.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute an
Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the City of Paducah and County of McCracken for
the establishment of a joint Paducah -McCracken County Geographic Information System.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become enforceable upon approval by the
Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Kentucky pursuant to KRS 65.260.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
