AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND MEEKS ELECTRICAL
INC. FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION AND REPAIR
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
an Agreement with Meeks Electrical Inc. in an amount not to exceed $18,000 for traffic
signal installation and repair.

SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 001-2202-
SECTION 3. Due to the need to reinstall a traffic signal at 9th and
Broadway and to repair any other existing signal which may need immediate repair which
may constitute a threat to traffic safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance will become effective immediately with one reading.
