AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BILL SOUTH
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A HANDICAPPED
RAMP AND PORTICO FOR THE NOBLE PARK POOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Cit of Paducah accepts the bid of Bill South Construction
Y p
Company Inc. in the amount of $24,775.00, for construction of a handicapped ramp and
portico for the Noble Park Pool, said purchase being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid of Bill South
Construction Company Inc. of October 15, 1999.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Bill South Construction Company Inc. for the services and items authorized in Section 1
above, according to the specifications, bid proposal, and all contract documents heretofore
approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account Number
040-8821-536-2307.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
