AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JACK DOHENY
SUPPLIES OHIO INC. FOR PURCHASE OF ONE REMANUFACTURED TRUCK
WITH CATCH BASIN CLEANER FOR USE BY THE STREET DIVISION, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Jack Doheny
Supplies Ohio Inc. in the amount of $125,000, for sale to the City of one remanufactured
truck with catch basin cleaner for use by the Street Division, said purchase being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained
in the bid of Doheny Supplies Ohio Inc. of February 2, 2000.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Doheny Supplies Ohio Inc. for the purchase of one vehicle authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal, and all contract documents heretofore
approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account Number
070-2215-541-6010.
SECTION 4. In order to secure this truck for purchase and a timely
delivery, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become
effective immediately with one reading.
