ORDINANCE NO. 2000-01-6154
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MINTER ROOFING
COMPANY INC. IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $52,133 TO REPLACE THE
JETTON GYMNASIUM ROOF, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Minter Roofing
Company Inc. in an amount not to exceed $52,133 to replace the Jetton Gymnasium roof,
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bids,
and as contained in the bid of Minter Roofing Company of January 19, 2000.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Minter Roofing Company Inc. for replacement of the Jetton Gymnasium roof, according
to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.

SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 040-8821-
SECTION 4. In order to prevent inclement weather from causing further
damage to the gymnasium floor, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance will become effective immediately with one reading.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be published pursuant to KRS Chapter
424.
