AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
ADDITIONAL CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS FROM DISPLAY SALES, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
WHEREAS, this purchase is being made as a non-competitive negotiation
under Section 26-21 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah; and
VVHEREAS, these decorations are being purchased to match the original
decorations which were purchased from Display Sales, a single source vendor.
SECTION 1. That the Finance Director is hereby authorized to purchase
additional Christmas decorations from Display Sales in an amount not to exceed
$12,625.00, pursuant to written determination by the City Manager authorizing said
purchase.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
a contract with Display Sales for the purchase of Christmas decorations authorized in
Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account Number
001-0109-511-2307.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will

become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
