AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A GRANT IN
THE AMOUNT OF $2,500 FROM THE KENTUCKY MUNICIPAL RISK
MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION LIABILITY GRANT 2000 PROGRAM FOR THE
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT/STREET DIVISION
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application
and all documents necessary to obtain a grant in the amount of $2,500 from the Kentucky
Municipal Risk Management Association Liability Grant 2000 for the purchase of safety
vests, personal safety body harnesses and traffic cones for the Engineering
Department/Street Division.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
