HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000-7-6237ORDINANCE NO. 2000-7- 6Q3 7 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A LEASE BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND JAMES MARINE, INC. FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: 1 Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute SECTION 1. That the ay y a lease between the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and James Marine, Inc. for property located between Kentucky Avenue, Washington Street, the Tennessee River and the Floodwall, more particularly described as follows: Being all that portion of Lots 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 in Block 3 of "Old Town" that is situated between Kentucky Avenue and Washington Street, the Tennessee River and a line running parallel with the floodwall and situated 25 feet on the river side of same from its center line. SECTION 2. The City will lease these premises to James Marine Inc. for the sum of Two Hundred Twenty -Five Dollars ($225.00) per month. The term of this lease shall be for five (5) years, subject to certain terms and conditions contained in said lease. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
