211Y CLERK INUTES OF A CALLED MEETING OF THE
COMMISSIONERS OF WATERWORKS
A called meeting of the members of the Commissioners of Waterworks was held June 21,
2023, at the Paducah Water Business Office, 1800 North 8" Street, Paducah. Mr. Barker
called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. A quorum was present. Those present were as
follows:
Commissioners Present: Ed Barker, Chair; Tom Clayton, Vice Chair; Chip Bohle, Angela
Copeland, Bill Shannon, Buz Smith, Ex Officio;
Commissioners Absent: Randy DeHart;
Paducah Water Personnel Present: Jason Petersen, Secretary/Treasurer and General
Manager; Tillman Burnett, Controller/Office Manager,
Mr. Burnett reviewed the proposed budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.
Mr. Petersen reviewed the capital items and proposed fees.
Mr. Petersen stated the finalized Budget will be presented at the June board meeting, along
with a recommendation to increase the water rates 6.5 % effective July 1, 2023, as discussed
during the workshop.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 2:16 p.m.
This meeting was held in compliance with KRS 61.800 et seq.
