AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT TO OBTAIN A GRANT FOR
PURCHASE OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON COUNTY PARK ROAD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
Memorandum of Agreement and all documents relating thereto with the Kentucky Heritage Land
Conservation Fund Board to obtain a grant in the amount of $120,000 for the purchase of 80
acres of real property on County Park Road to establish a nature preserve.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 040-000-420-
4100 (PA 0031).
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
