ORDINANCE NO. 2000 -7 - 60. -4 -
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE FINANCE
DIRECTOR TO PAY JAMES MARINE FOR EQUIPMENT AND REPAIRS TO THE
PUBLIC BOAT DOCK
WHEREAS, this services were performed as a non-competitive
negotiation under Section 26-21 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah; and
1 WHEREAS James Marine is the sole supplier of these services in this
area.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed
to pay the sum of $18,000 to James Marine for equipment and repairs to the public boat
dock.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 040-
8821-536-2307,
SECTION 3. This work has been performed, and in order to avoid late
charges, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become
effective immediately with one reading.
