ORDINANCE NO. 2000 -04 -
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE 911 INTERLOCAL
AGREEMENT WITH AMENDMENT INCORPORATED BETWEEN THE CITY OF
PADUCAH AND McCRACKEN COUNTY FOR 911 EMERGENCY
COMMUNICATIONS SERVICE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A COPY OF SAME
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 91-5-4613, the City of Paducah approved
an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the City of Paducah and the County of
McCracken, Kentucky, for 911 Emergency Communications Service; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 94-7-5171, the City of Paducah approved
the First Amendment to the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the City of
Paducah and McCracken County, Kentucky, for 911 Emergency Communications Service;
and
WHEREAS, the Paducah -McCracken County Emergency Communications
Service Board has recommended amendments to the Interlocal Agreement affecting
funding of 911 services.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah approves the Interlocal Agreement with
Amendment Incorporated between the City of Paducah and McCracken County for 911
Emergency Communications Service and does hereby authorize the Mayor to execute a
copy of same.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
