ORDINANCE NO. 2000-6-_(i L / k
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
SET A MONTHLY 800 MHz RADIO SYSTEM USER UNIT RATE FOR NON -CITY
USERS
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah operates an 800 MHz Radio System
which is used by approximately 600 radio units; and
WHEREAS, approximately 140 users do not pay to use this system; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah desires to establish a unit rate to be paid
by non -City users of this system.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Finance Director is hereby authorized to set a
monthly 800 MHz radio system user unit rate for non -City users of the system.
SECTION 2. The non -City user rate shall be based on the number of
units, initial and subsequent capital outlays and related expenditures. This rate shall be
set by municipal order and adjusted in June of each year, as necessary, by municipal
order adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
