ORDINANCE NO. 2000-6-_
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF SWAB WAGON
COMPANY INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE ANIMAL TRANSPORT UNIT
FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Swab Wagon Company
Inc. in the amount of $11,110.00, for sale to the City of one animal transport unit for use
by the Police Department, said purchase being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid of Swab Wagon
Company Inc. of May 12, 2000.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Swab Wagon Company Inc. for the purchase of the equipment authorized in Section 1
above, according to the specifications, bid proposal, and all contract documents heretofore
approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account Number
071-0102-541-4005.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
