AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TRUCK CENTERS, INC., IN
THE AMOUNT OF $50,720.00 FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE DUMP BODY AND
CHASSIS FOR USE BY THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT/STREET DIVISION, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Truck Centers, Inc., in the
amount of $50,720.00, for sale to the City of one dump body and chassis, for use by the
Engineering Department/Street Division, said bid being in substantial compliance with bid
specifications, and as contained in the bid of Truck Centers, Inc., of April 26, 2000.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Truck
Centers, Inc., for the purchase of one dump body and chassis, authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
(EQ0003).
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to Account No. 070-2210-542-4007
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
