AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE PAR
GROUP TO ASSIST THE CITY IN RECRUITING AND
SELECTING A PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR
'i BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
a contract with The PAR Group in the amount of $12,750, plus $4,000 for expenses, for
services to assist the City of Paducah in recruiting and selecting a Public Works Director.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 001-
0107-511-2452.
SECTION 3. In order to conduct this search simultaneously with the
search for a Public Works Director, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance shall become effective immediately with one reading.
