AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE PAR
GROUP TO ASSIST THE CITY IN RECRUITING AND
SELECTING A NEW POLICE CHIEF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
a contract with The PAR Group in an amount not to exceed $13,500, plus $4,500 for
expenses, for services to assist the City of Paducah in recruiting and selecting a new
Police Chief.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 001-
1601-521-2307.
SECTION 3. Due to the retirement of the City's Police Chief, and in
order to recruit and select a new Police Chief as soon as possible, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall become effective immediately with one reading.
