HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000-8-6254595 ORDINANCE NO. 2000-8-665—* AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED ZONE CHANGE FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 1448 BLOOM AVENUE, FROM R-4, HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO M-2, HEAVY INDUSTRIAL ZONE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH 1 ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution passed by the Paducah Planning Commission on July 3, 2000, and entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED ZONING CHANGE FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 1448 BLOOM AVENUE," be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following described property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-4, High Density Residential Zone to M-2, Heavy Industrial Zone: Beginning at a point in the center of Bloom Avenue. Said point being 305.5' north of the Fulton Street and Bloom Avenue right-of-way intersection; Thence in a westerly direction a distance of 198.25' to the centerline of an unnamed alley; thence in a northerly direction 100' with the centerline of said alley to a point; thence in a easterly direction a distance of 198.25' to the centerline of Bloom Avenue; Thence in a southerly direction a distance of 100' to the point of beginning. Said property containing 19,825 sq. ft. (.455 Acres) SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
