AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND
McCRACKEN COUNTY CONCERNING THE MCCRACKEN COUNTY LANDFILL
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
Supplemental Agreement with McCracken County concerning the McCracken County Landfill.
The City and County agree to share equally in all remediation action and expense necessitated
thereby that the Commonwealth of Kentucky or the United States of America or any of their
agencies may from the effective date of this agreement hereafter deem necessary.
SECTION 2. In order to respond to the County's action of October 9, 2000, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become effective immediately with
one reading.
