ORDINANCE NO. 2003-4-&t,35
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH BRANDSTETTER CARROLL,
INC FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR THE PARKS MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 2001-10-6422, the City executed a
contract in the amount of $70,000 with Brandstetter/Carroll, Inc. for Consultant Services
for the Parks Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 2002-5-6520, the City executed an
amendment to the contract in the amount of $9,300.00 with Brandstetter/Carroll, Inc. for
additional consulting services; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to amend this contract to include design
services for development of the first phase of implementation of the Parks Master Plan.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
a contract amendment with Brandstetter/Carroll, in the amount of $73,000.00 for design
services for the development of the first phase of implementation of the Paducah Parks
Master Plan, thereby increasing the total contract amount to $152,300.00.
Bond Issue.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be appropriated from the KLC 2003
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
