AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF T J CONEVERA'S
INC FOR THE PURCHASE OF AMMUNITION, FOR USE BY THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of T J
Conevera's for the purchase of ammunition in the amount of $10,648.80 for use by
the Police Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid of Black Hills
Ammunition, of February 17, 2003.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract
with T J Conevera's, Inc., for the purchase of ammunition, authorized in Section 1
above, according to the specifications, bid proposal, and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Misc.
Commodities/Ammun. in the Police Department budget.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
