TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH AIRPORT ADVOCATES, INC., FOR
ADMINISTRATION OF THE SMALL COMMUNITY AIR SERVICE
DEVELOPMENT PILOT PROGRAM GRANT AND IF NECESSARY, TRANSFER
$25,000 FROM COMMISSION CONTINGENCY FOR SAID PROJECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1 That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
legally binding agreement with Airport Advocates, Inc., for administration of the Small
Community Air Service Development Pilot Program grant. This marketing grant is to be
used by Barkley Regional Airport for the purpose of upgrading.service for the region and
marketing existing and upgraded or new carrier service to increase local air travel.
SECTION 2. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to
transfer the sum of $25,000.00, from the Commission Contingency Fund to the U.S.
Department of Transportation Small Community Air Service Development Pilot Program
Grant project account (TR0002). These funds are a portion of a local cash match for the
grant.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
