ORDINANCE NO. 2003-10-6711
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GIFT OF REAL PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 1500 NORTH 8TH STREET AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A DEED AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING TO SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby accepts a gift of real estate
from DL Holdings, LLC, of a tract of real property located at 1500 North 8th Street, and
being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of 7th and Terrell Streets and thence in a
Westerly direction and with Terrell Street a distance of 247 feet, more or less, to
the Northeast corner of 8th and Terrell Streets; thence in a Northerly direction and
with 8th Street 140 feet, more or less, to a point; thence at right angles and in an
Easterly direction 247 feet, more or less, to a point; thence at right angles and
with 7th Street 140 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
Being a part of the same property conveyed to Duke and Long Distributing
Company by deed dated November 17, 1994 and recorded in Deed Book 822,
Page 85 in the McCracken County Clerk's office.
Said property was conveyed to DL Holding, LLC, by Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure
dated April 22, 2002 of record in Deed Book _, Page _ in the McCracken
County Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a deed and all
documents necessary to transfer the above-described real property to the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KI
