ORDINANCE NO. 2003-10-6710
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILKINS CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY, INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PADUCAH PARKS PHASE I PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Wilkins Construction,
Company, Inc., in the amount of $772,457.00 for construction of Paducah Parks Phase I Project,
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, and as contained in the bid
of Wilkins Construction Company, Inc., dated October 6, 2003.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Wilkins
Comstruction Company, Inc., for construction of Paducah Parks Phase I Project, authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to 2003 Bond Issue (PA0041).
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective upon summary publication
pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
