AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2003-6-6657,
ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2003,
THROUGH JUNE 30, 2004, BY ESTIMATING REVENUES AND RESOURCES AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF CITY GOVERNMENT"
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to reappropriate funds for the 2003-
2004 budget which was adopted by Ordinance No. 2003-6-6657; and

WHEREAS, KRS prohibits expenses to exceed the budget in any
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the annual budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
2003, and ending June 30, 2004, be amended by a supplemental appropriation in the
amount of $1,200,000 from the General Fund reserves to the Commission Contingency
account ($800,000), Administrative Reserve ($24,000) and to the Pecan Bridge Project
($376,000).
SECTION 2. That the annual budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
2003, and ending June 30, 2004, be amended by increasing the General Fund's estimate
of revenues and resources by $48,000, PHA Payment In Lieu of Taxes (PILT) ($18,000)
and Forest Hills Lease ($30,000).
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
