ORDINANCE NO. 2003-8-6679
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
DEED FOR THE PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2201 BLOOM
AVENUE BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND AUTHORIZE TRANSFER OF FUNDS
FOR SAID PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a deed and all
documents necessary for the purchase of real property located at 2201 Bloom Avenue in
the amount of $2,000.00 by the City of Paducah.
SECTION 2. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to
transfer $2,400.00, ($2,000 acquisition of property; $400 legal costs) from the
Commission Contingency account to the Planning Department's Services -Other account.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to the Planning
Department, Services — Other account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
