Box 2267 Paducah, KY 42002-2267 gcherry®paducahky.gov/270-444-8522 CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MEETING MINUTES JUNE 14, 2021 The Code Enforcement Board Meeting, was held on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at City Hall. In attendance were Allan Rhodes, Beverly McKinley, Carol Young, Ines Hutchins, Melinda Winchester, Stacey Blankenship, David Jones, Steve Utz, Greg Cherry and Janet Dicke. This meeting was called to Order by Allan Rhodes. The Minutes were read and unanimously approved by the Board. Absent: Jim and Kathy Keeney Properties Discussed: 2150 Irvin Cobb Drive - Vilson Qehaja — Owner Mr. Qehaj a must submit a cost estimate for the total project and design work which includes exterior elevations and floor plans to the Code Enforcement Board within 30 days from the date of the Order, May 17th , 2021 for our next Code Enforcement Board Meeting June 14, 2021. Remediate all Code Enforcement Citations and/or pay all fines and pay the Property Maintenance Failure to Comply $2,250.00 in 30 days from the date of the Order dated May 17th, 2021. If Mr. Qehaja fails to comply with these Orders, demolition process will be begin. Mr. Qehaj a did not comply with the Order that is stipulated above. There was a discussion on how to proceed next. The Board decided to wait to see if Mr. Qehaja will appeal to the McCracken Circuit Court. 2. 2003 Jefferson St. — Jim and Kathy Keeney - Owner The Keeney's were invited to attend the Code Enforcement Meeting to discuss their property. We have received no correspondence from them since it has been written up September 2011. Ines Hutchins made the motion for the Keeney's to start addressing the violations that are on the Correction Notice. In 30 days, July 12, 2021, Keeney's are to submit a timeline to the Code Enforcement Board for any remaining work to be completed. If work is not completed within that timeline, the CE Board will initiate foreclosure. Melinda Winchester and Carol Young made the 1St and 2°d motion in favor thereof, Beverly McKinley voted against the motion. Meeting adjourned. Page 2
