AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT RENEWAL WITH
PADUCAH WOODENWARE. FOR THE PURCHASE OF LEAF BAGS, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAME
WHEREAS, the City by Ordinance No. 2002-9-6576, accepted the bid of
Paducah Woodenware, for sale to the City of leaf bags and authorized the Mayor to
execute a contract for same; and
WHEREAS, the City now desires to exercise its option for a first year
renewal of this contract as set out in the bid documents.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah authorizes renewal of the contract with
Paducah Woodenware for sale to the City of 500,000 leaf bags in the amount of
$42,300.00 for FY 2003/04, pursuant to the option to renew as set out in the bid of
Paducah Woodenware dated August 14, 2002.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract
renewal with Paducah Woodenware for the purchase of leaf bags as set out in Section 1
above.
