ORDINANCE NO. 2003-7-6659
AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING AND APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF
REAL ESTATE LOCATED AT 816 NORTH 21ST STREET AND AUTHORIZING THE
TRANSFER OF SAID PROPERTY TO THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF PADUCAH AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A DEED OF CONVEYANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby ratifies and approves the purchase
of real estate located at 816 North 21" Street and authorizes the transfer of said property to the
Housing Authority of Paducah for consideration in the amount of $1 plus costs relating to
acquisition of property.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Deed
of Conveyance from the City of Paducah to the Housing Authority of Paducah for sale of
property located at 816 North 21St Street.
SECTION 3. In order to expedite the process to allow the Housing Authority of
Paducah to immediately begin rehabilitation, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance shall become effective immediately with one reading.
