ORDINANCE NO. 2003-6-6649
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF H & G CONSTRUCTION INC,
FOR FOUR RIVERS FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER SITE IMPROVEMENTS,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of H & G Construction,
Inc., in the amount of $1,818,370.32 for site improvements for the Four Rivers for the
Performing Arts Center, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, and
as contained in the bid of H & Construction, Inc, dated May 27, 2003.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with H & G
Construction, Inc., for Four Rivers Center site improvements, authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Four Rivers Center-Streetscape
Phase IV (2003 Bond Project).
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS
