ORDINANCE NO. 2001-11- L45�
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF AN IBM
AS/400 SERVER FROM IBM FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State Contract No. C-
99000428, and competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Finance Director is authorized to pay the total sum
of $117,496.00 for the purchase of an IBM AS/400 Server for the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, in compliance with Kentucky State Purchasing Contract.
SECTION 2. This purchase is contingent upon approval by the
McCracken County Fiscal Court to pay one-quarter of the total sum in the amount of
$29,374.00 in return for use of the new AS/400 for HTE's Law Enforcement Software
Applications.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 040-
0112-511-2307 (AS0008).
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
