AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
SUBLEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN SEAMEN'S CHURCH INSTITUTE OF NEW
YORK AND NEW JERSEY AND RIVER HERITAGE MUSEUM INC., AND TO
EXECUTE A SUBLEASE AND OPERATING AGREEMENT BETWEEN RIVER
HERITAGE MUSEUM INC., THE PADUCAH FILM SOCIETY, THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, AND SEAMEN'S CHURCH INSTITUTE OF NEW YORK AND NEW
JERSEY
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the all parties to enter into a Sublease
Agreement and a Sublease and Operating Agreement, which Agreements will set out the
terms, conditions and covenants of the parties.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
a Sublease Agreement between Seamen's Church Institute of New York and New Jersey
and River Heritage Museum Inc. for sublease of real property located on Water Street, for
and in consideration of the terms, covenants and conditions set forth in said agreement.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a Sublease
and Operating Agreement between between River Heritage Museum Inc, Paducah Film
Society, City of Paducah, and Seamen's Church Institute of New York and New Jersey
for a tract of real property located at 117 Water Street generally known as the River
Heritage Museum, for and in consideration of the terms, covenants and conditions, and
�r other good and valuable consideration, as set forth in said agreement.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
