ORDINANCE NO. 2001-11- (0457
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN MERCY REGIONAL EMERGENCY
MEDICAL SYSTEM AND CITY OF PADUCAH FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE
FIRST RESPONDER PROGRAM AND USE OF AEDs
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
an agreement in an amount not to exceed $30,000.00 between Mercy Regional
Emergency Medical System and the City of Paducah for implementation of the First
Responder Program and use of AEDs, pursuant to 202 KAR 7:465E.
522-4212.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to account no. 001-1802-
SECTION 3. Due to the recent purchase of AEDs for the implementation
of the above program an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall
become effective immediately with one reading.
