HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-10-6445194 24510 ORDINANCE 2001-10- 600— AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO A LEASE WITH BELLSOUTH MOBILITY FOR THE BENEFIT OF CITY WHEREAS, the City of Paducah is willing to lease of space on the 800 MHz tower to BellSouth Mobility d/b/a Cingular (herein, BellSouth) and a 900 square feet parcel of the real estate located at 510 Clark Street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The City Commission hereby authorizes and approves the City of Paducah to enter into an Agreement with BellSouth for the lease of space on the 800 MHz tower and the lease of real estate located at 510 Clark Street upon terms and conditions approved by the City Manager and Corporation Counsel. SECTION 2. The City Commission hereby authorizes and approves the City of Paducah to obtain the services necessary to negotiate and prepare a contract which protects the City's interests. SECTION 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a lease agreement between the City and BellSouth. SECTION 4.
