AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ATLAS ROOFING
COMPANY FOR ROOF REPAIRS AT THE PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Atlas Roofing
Company in the amount of $45,789.00, for roof repairs at the Public Works Facility, said
bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bids,
and as contained in the bid of Atlas Roofing Company of September 19, 2001.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract
with Atlas Roofing Company for roofing authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal, and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to the following accounts:
070-2215-541-4205, 001-2202-531-4205 and 050-2208-531-4205.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
