Minutes: Minutes reviewed from November 25, 2019. No proposed changes.
Director Report Out:
Monthly Reinvestment Stats: No January update.
Review 2020 Work Plan:
o Board reviewed and provided minor changes to the Paducah Main Street Description of
Structure, Mission Statement, and Vision Statement. Changes will be incorporated and
voted on at February meeting.
o Board received Organization, Promotion, and Design Committee Work Plans. Discussion
to be continued in February. Economic Vitality Work Plan to come after committee
forms.
Appointment of new Vice Chair and New Board Members: Jim Smolen resigned. Board needs
to add new members. Next step is putting together list of potential appointments for the Mayor.
2020 Volunteer Appreciation Event: Event scheduled for March 19th, 5-7:30pm at the Smedley
Yeiser. Organization Committee is the lead.
Budget Report Out: The Director provided a monthly Financial Report for December 2019 for the Main
Street Promotions Budget. Total disbursements for FY are $18,394.53. Remaining Budget for FY is
$11,605.47. Board appreciated receiving monthly report and requests monthly report on Downtown
grants. Director will provide going forward.
Committee Report Outs:
Organization: Committee met on January 6th. Holiday decorations were taken down. Committee
discussed plans for Volunteer Appreciation and Spring Spruce Up. Director shared work plan for
Summer Block Party Series and seasonal music at the gazebo. Committee discussed fundraising
goals. Main Street staff to provide Committee sponsorship package.

Minutes
Design: Committee met on January 16th. Committee is incorporating final comments on
Downtown Design Standards. Once final draft complete, Committee will reach out to property
owners and business owners to get feedback before bringing document to HARC.
Promotions: Promotions committee did not meet in January. Main Street staff did social media
campaign for Valentine’s Day that focused on dinning, shopping, and staying Downtown.
Economic Vitality: Jennifer Frazier will chair the economic vitality committee. Jill Poimboeuf will
also serve on this committee. Date set for first meeting on February 18th.
