Minutes from July 26, 2021: approved.
Work Plan, Part 1: Staff introduced the National Main Street accreditation requirements and the
importance of work plan for the growth of Main Street as an organization. Discussion surrounded the
handouts (see attached), covering the mission, vision, and the general assignment of work plan items to
the board and each committee. Board also contributed comments on the layout and color coding of the
worksheet, providing suggestions on readability and user-friendliness. The handout attached reflects the
comments from this meeting and incorporates the discussion therein. Future meetings will discuss work
plan items (program level) under each committee, and updated versions of the handouts will
accompany the minutes.
