AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A LEASE AND
CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF PADUCAH AND FOUR RIVERS CENTER FOR
THE PERFORMING ARTS INC.
WHEREAS, the City and Four Rivers have the mutual desire to establish a
world-class performing arts center in the downtown area of the City for the purpose of
enhancing economic development and tourism in the region and of promoting
educational opportunities for all citizens of the region.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
a Lease and Construction Agreement between the City of Paducah and Four Rivers
Center for the Performing Arts.

SECTION 2. City expenditures for this project will be charged to Funds
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
